Another great place to eat along 30A. Great for the kids and entire family. Its kind of a hidden gem that we stumbled onto. The Pizza is the best - and the Tatar-tot nachos are awesome too. Staff is friendly and down to earth and its another restaurant in our recommended book at our beach house! -- Just remember its CASH ONLY!!! - thats the only reason why I couldn't give it a 5 out of 5.

Good place ~ one of the few open during the "off" season on 30A. Friendly staff, great food, reasonably priced and same as the other reviewer, only reason I can't give it a 5 out of 5 is because it's cash only.

Terrible service every time I've gone. Last time our food took 35 minutes and all we had were sandwiches. Greesy food too, definitely not worth the wait. Never going back there again. Oh and the AC wasn't working in the room we were in either

We stopped in for a drink. Fun place. We drank and played darts. Met some great local folks. Great service! We had a good time at Jonny McTighe's.

We just ate there last night and had pizza. It was really great and somewhat reasonable. Good for watching sports...lots of TVs. Seems like regulars hang there too. The waitress said the chef used to be at Mellow Mushroom and had pizza experience hence the Irish bar w pizza.

For a night down on 30-A you can't ask for more. Great pizza, the best by far on 30-A.. Great burger and bar scene.. once you get over hanging with the tourists at bud and alley's... go see Jack, he will show you you true southern hospitality....

5 stars for their pizza! We were a little skeptical about ordering pizza from an Irish Bar, but it was delicious. The pizza is semi-Brooklyn-style (big slices) with medium thick crust. We ordered carry-out and got a pepperoni and artichoke pizza and a sausage and cheese. Both were great, but the sausage was especially good. Johnny's will be our go-to for pizza spot for carry-out.

Ok. I'm not crazy about dishing out yelp reviews but this is the best food you will eat for miles. The Philly cheesesteak is legit. I'm from PA and it holds up to anything Philly can dish out. Forget the hyped local restaurants where you wait for over an hour to eat average food. This place delivers with every item.

We went for a cocktail to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday. The bartender was a complete jerk. We asked what kind of wines they had and were greeted with a rude laugh. "If you want a glass of wine you are in the wrong place", with rolled eyes and he walks away. Well, I wave him back over and order a mixed drink, my wife inquires if he makes a lemon drop and the scumbag laughs at her question. My wife is a former professional bartender and simply asks if they have Kettle One and he is really bothered. We are without a car for the day and decide to stay for a couple of drinks and get out of this nightmare. The second drink was made with the well vodka and we are charged for premium. At this point I want to tell this guy off, but my wife tells me to let it go. Then he tells me they only take cash. What the crap are you talking about. I had to run back to the condo to get the money and I will be reporting this crap hole to the IRS. My work has allowed me to travel the world and go to numerous great and friendly Irish Pubs, avoid this place like the Ebola.

We had a great time sitting at the bar after a long bike ride. Tracy was the bartender and she made our visit a lot of fun and she knows how to pour a good pint of Guinness and she also made my wife the best Margarita we've ever had. We went back a couple days later for lunch and the Irish Rubin was really good and my wife enjoyed the Club Sandwich as well. Way above average for bar food. Whenever I find myself on 30A I will make sure to drop in this great little Irish Pub!

I really cannot say enough about the cheesesteaks. SO GOOD. Honestly. I wish I had one right now... The regular philly cheesesteak & the regular chicken cheesesteak are really outstanding. My favorite is the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. And I highly recommend the chili cheese tots as your side. Yum! The hand-cut fries are also a great choice. Te tater tot nachos are really good as well as the tuna dip on the appetizer menu. The hot dogs are great. The chicken fingers are stellar. The pretzels are amazing! The pizza is a winner too! If you are in the mood for bar food...this is where you need to be. Great local spot. Total dive bar. You will be glad you went!

Just popped in here on a whim while staying across the street at the Adagio. 4 adults and 4 children and we were all blown away. Delicious pizza. The Rueben was amazing. Friends from PA had cheesesteaks and loved them. Hidden gem. Don't let the exterior fool you.

They only take cash or check! !! We called ahead to confirm this and the person who answered the phone told us they accept credit/debit cards, so we went. When our party of 7 arrived the first thing the waitress says is they only accept cash or check. We told her that we called ahead, and she explained "it was probably some drunk answering the phone"!! So we left and went to Maries next door which was terrific!

One of my favorite post night eats. You must try their bacon cheddar tots. It's a perfect 1:00am solution to hunger! Their pizzas are fantastic too. Beware: they are very strict about the time their kitchen closes. Even if it's one minute after, they will not place your good order!

Great place to catch a World Cup semi. Friendly efficient service from a bartender who greeted locals by name & was more than helpful to we annoying tourists. Diligent drink service. Didn't sample the food.

Did not like attitude of service. Very rude. Will not go back. And am a local. Again they are not friendly to tourist stay away.

  • Jackie L.

Really unfriendly to us. The lady behind the bar wouldn't look at us, seemed bothered that we wanted to eat and have a drink and we would ask her for something and she wouldn't acknowledge us. She seemed to hear us because she would bring what we asked for, like a coke. Maybe it was just her personality but they could have so much more business if she was just friendlier. We ordered a pizza and it was good. We could never go back. Wouldn't recommend. Lots of other places around her to try with people that want your business.

Half a star would be appropriate for the way we were treated by the bartender, some guy with a beard that never introduced himself. He never made eye contact, gave us one word answers, and ignored us at every opportunity, even when my rife tried to strike up a conversation. He was plenty chatty with other people that came in to the bar, making it clear that this was a "locals" place. We had one drink and left without eating. This is the wrong guy to put in front of customers, they would do better with a sock puppet.

Beer was ice cold, good food little slow at the start but once they got going Ok. Steak sub was the way to go! From Pittsburgh only problem was they let St Louis fans in the join during the playoff game. Go check it out. We like it here

Great food. If you are tired of chasing seafood along 30-A and want a good meal with a menu that offers tons of choices this is the place. Our waiter (Jimmy) was very friendly and helped with our selections. The pizza may be the best I have had south of the Mason Dixon Line. Their lobster bisque is excellent. McTighe's also has an arcade and dartboards that entertained our teenagers long after our meal was over. Give it a try and be pleasantly surprised.

very friendly people and staff. good service. good beer selection. I really could have liked this place but the cigarette smoke/smell was too much for me. if u are a smoker, this is your place and you should add 2 stars to my review as a bar.

While running some errands along 30A, we popped into Johnny McTighe's Irish Pub to grab a bite to eat and had a really good time. For some reason or another, a cold pint of Guinness just tastes better when it's served up from an Irish Pub ;-) My wife and I had a great meal and will definitely be going back!

Cash only! They do have an ATM though. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon randomly. Staff was very friendly. Beer was cold. French dip was delicious! They use amarosa's bread from philly :)

My family wanted something different so we decided on Johnny McTighe's. We got there right at 6 and no one was in the place. Service was quick. The waitress told us pizza was their specialty. I thought this was odd since it was a Irish Pub. My wife and daughter ordered pizza. I order the grouper poboy and my son ordered the sausage parmesan. The was really good. The crust was thin and crispy. Oh the other hand, the grouper poboy was not good. I'm not even sure if it was grouper. The fish was greasy and overcooked. My son said his sausage parmesan was ok.

We went on St. Patty Day with the kids. They had a limited menu because of the crowd. The wife and kids got pizza, which was great, and I got the Reuben. It might be one of the best Reuben's I have ever had. The wait staff was right on. Very accommodating with our young ones. A great dive to go while your down on 30A.
